How long does a pink slip remain valid?Once passed the report is valid for 6 months however for the purpose of selling a vehicle it is recommended that a pink slip be provided by the seller which is no more than 42 days (6 weeks) old.
What if my vehicle does not pass inspection?Should your vehicle not pass the inspection, you'll receive a report outlining the necessary repairs. You'll then have a 14-day window to complete the required work. Once this period elapses, the report becomes invalid, and you'll need to cover the cost of a new pink slip/E-Safety check.
